Chronology
Time, as measured in Corrum, began with the
founding of Dar Fallas.
| 1 |
Dar Fallas founded at the joining of and named
for the rivers Fallas and it tributary, the Dar. |
| 53 |
Kerrig the Bald claims Dar Fallas by right of
arms and makes it his permanent camp. He provides protection to the farmers and
traders who market their goods in the town from barbarian tribes and brigands.

Eginal Mountains, starting the Reitvan War. |
| 701 |
Terial Lavissen dies in battle. His daughter,
Revecah Terialsdan, assumes the throne and negotiates a peace through marriage
with Reitvan by marrying off her youngest sister to the Reitvan heir. The
treaty sets their common border as the Eginal Mountains. |
| 726 |
Revecah dies without issue. She names Garrin
Longsord as her heir, ending the Fourth Dynasty and beginning the Fifth and
setting precedent for the practice of heredity through adoption. |

Co Bergin (now Co Leurin) invades. |
| 864 |
General Agrimon of Co Bergin takes Fort Lyddies,
where his army is completely annihilated by the Corrum forces. The fort was

The Bergin family is publicly executed after a coup d’etat by Forsynthe Leurin. Co Bergin becomes Co Leurin. |

views this as a most wonderful development and set out to make traders of
previously troublesome desert tribesmen. |
| 1143 |
Terial Brighter conducts an experiment on the coast
almost directly due west of Dar Fallas and ends up creating the Watersdeep Bay.
He also managed to kill himself and destroy all of his notes, creating the
mystery of just what he was trying to do. All the inhabitants of Vo Vight flee.

Measuring Time
There are about 52 finger marks (roughly 15
minutes, the distance the sun travels in a fingers-width of the sky in the day
time during the equinoxes) and that averages 26 hours in a day.
There are seven days, Dark Day, Soul Day,
Breathing Day, Firm Day, Burning Day, Flowing Day, and Mad Day, in a seven-day,
a week.
There are 13 Moon cycles in a year: Dark Moon,
Soul, Breathing, Firm, Burning, Flowing, Growing, Lowing, Learning, Somber,
Crafting, Laughing, and Mad.
Holidays
Mid Winter
Marks the beginning of the year, reminding all that the Bright Lands were
brought forth from the Primal Darkness.
Mid Spring
One of the Balanced Days, the equinox is a celebration of the growing strength
of the Bright Lands and a break from the monotony of winter-dark days. Unions
formed at this time are considered especially fertile and most nobles will not
pledge at any other time. The first planting of the season is usually finished
by now and may also be celebrated.
Mid Summer
Marks the longest day and the shortest night. Children of an age are named on
this night, held aloft by their name-parent. The first harvest of the season is
usually also celebrated.
Mid Harvest
The second Balanced Day, this equinox is of great concern to the priests. The
Temples throw enormous revelries in the hopes of amusing Edar and staving off
the Great Return, when the Bright Lands are swallowed back up by the Primal
Darkness. When it falls within the Somber Moon, many of the revelries are
subdued in difference to the Time of Judgments, when the courts of the
Law-Givers (in Corrum, the Monarch and the Magistrates) are placed under careful
scrutiny by every pious person. Any appeals made to a civil-matter trial must
be made between the end of the last Time of Judgments and the end of the current
Time of Judgments. The general population, though, sees this as a time to
celebrate the last harvest.
Monarch’s Day
A day celebrating the Monarch’s birth.
Consort’s Day
A celebration of the day the Monarch’s Consort made formal union with the
Monarch.
