Ranks of Nobility

The ranks of the titled nobility are here ordered from greatest to least, by the formal Honorific. The address from a lesser is in italics, followed by (spouse’s title) and [Heir’s Title]. Unless otherwise noted, the spouse or heir of a titled noble is addressed in the same manner as the titled noble. 

Those titles followed by an asterisks (*) will include a named tie to a specific piece of land (usually an entailed part of their inheritance), such as "Prince So and So of Jaydair".  When addressed by a superior, they will often be called by their land tie, while those without will be addressed by their clan name.

Earned titles cannot be inherited and no special favor is granted to the spouse or the children of the person thus rewarded.
